Nipunika Fernando is a Fashion and Costume Designer whose designs aim to evoke emotion through clothing. Fuelled by the drive to create worlds, she believes in the collaborative process of storytelling in art.

Sustainability is a large part of her fashion work and she believes young designers have an obligation to ensure their work adheres sustainable practices.

Overall she believes in pushing the boundaries of design while maintaining ethical processes.
