This is not a witch hunt for bad men; this is getting the good ones together to create real change.

It’s giving good men skills and tools to care for women behind closed doors and out in the open.

Get in the room, with other good men, find ways to solve this problem.

Let’s make the world safer for women.

If you’re a man reading this, you’ve probably never had to think about these statistics.

Most women have.

Take a moment to look at them.

Imagine living with them every day.

It's this disconnect in experiences that is not only unfair, but dangerous.

Most men care deeply about the women in their lives.

Their partner. Their mum. Their sister. Their daughter. Their colleagues.

But care alone isn’t enough.

Understanding matters.

Speaking up matters.

The behaviour we accept around us matters.

Us guys can get better at this.

We can get better at recognising behaviour that makes women feel unsafe.

We can encourage each other toward better behaviour. And we can have the courage to call out behaviour that crosses the line.

Because attitudes like this don’t appear out of nowhere.

They’re shaped in everyday conversations, cultural norms, jokes, comments and the behaviour we accept around us.

New Australian research from and found that nearly 20% of Australian men believe feminism should be violently resisted if necessary.

That stat is confronting.

But here’s who I want to talk to.

The 80% of men who disagree. The good men. The men who care. The men who want women to feel safe.

Because we’re the ones who set the tone.

If you’re a good man who believes women deserve to feel safe, this event is for you.

About the event: As part of , and are partnering with tocry and to run In Her Shoes.

A two-hour allyship session designed for men who want to better understand women’s lived experiences and learn practical ways to support the women in their lives.

If you care about your partner, your sister, your daughter or your mate’s safety, this is for you.

A lot of men want to support the women in their lives. They just do not always know how to start.

The In Her Shoes workshop creates space to ask honest questions, reflect, and even fumble a bit without being shamed or shut down.

It is not about getting it perfect.

It is about building awareness that shifts behaviour.

You'll leave the workshop with a clearer view of how everyday interactions shape women’s sense of safety and belonging.

It’s being backed by these In Her Shoes ambassadors:
- (Essendon AFL Captain)
- (Commissioner and Campaigner)
- (Tigers Premiership Champion) and
- (Entertainer).

And through practical activities and guided reflection, you’ll explore:

- What you might be missing
- Where you already make a difference
- How to do more, confidently

Facilitated by co-founders of and , Paige Campbell and Tom Harkin this will be a special and impactful evening.

Grab your mates, grab your tickets and be part of the solution.

Let’s have the conversation and make a safer world for all women.

There are ambassadors and then there's

As soon as we asked Andy if he wanted to be part of In Her Shoes, he said yes.

Since then he's been speaking with and on and was on page two of the .

Not only this, he also bought 10 tickets for himself and his mates!

This is a shout-out and thanks to Andy for coming on board and wanting to make the world safer for women.

Because on March 11th and alongside and are hosting an International Women's Day workshop, In Her Shoes.

We're inviting men to see what it's like to live life through women's eyes.

Why? Here's a tiny snapshot of what women go through.

- Over 60% of women won't walk alone at night.
- Nearly 8 out of 10 women in Australia have been street harassed (cat calling, leering, followed, etc)
- 1 in 3 women have experienced physical violence from the age of 15

This is not typical of the male experience. And this is deeply unfair.

But rather than this workshop being about finger-pointing, blame, and men being the problem.

It's about creating empathy, understanding and inviting men to be part of the solution.

Because we know it's not all men doing this, but it's all men's responsibility to stand up for and protect women.

Turn up for your daughter, your partner, your sister, your mates, your mum. Turn up for all women.

Grab your mates, grab your tickets (better yet, grab 10 like Andy) and solve this issue together.
