My mannequin is a bit small for this gorgeous dress so it doesn’t quite hang right but that doesn’t stop it from being so fabulous. The soft rayon fabric moves beautifully and that suede extended waistband gives a cinched-in, almost corseted look. It’s luxurious, romantic, bohemian and sexy, all while being completely covered

Buttons and a zipper on the back. Soft shoulder pads. Very well made - it even has pockets!

Top with asymmetrical frog closures + snaps:
Marked 32 but on a 34 bust mannequin which it fits beautifully
Length center back 23.5 + 2 inch stand-up collar

Cropped pants:
Waist 26-28(elasticated on the back + adjustable button closure)
Total length 35 inches
Inside leg 25 inches

So pretty and beautifully made. Versatility with the two pieces (remembering that we went crazy for this style top in the 90s which we wore with bootcut jeans) and I love the details: the frog closures on both pieces, the basque waistline on the pants

From the Irish heritage brand, this was purchased on a trip to Ireland and then remained stored in a cedar chest. It’s easy to see why these cosy pieces are considered pieces of folk art, with different stitches being representative of different tales or stories
Crew neck, raglan sleeve, 100% chunky wool. These pieces will last forever with a little care - that’s why they are so often passed down between generations

Lots of lovely details like pockets, epaulettes, inverted pleat on the back - it’s a super chic and well-made design that’s totally modern but with retro Seventies vibes. The attached belt is long enough to be tied and styled in several different ways. Ideal to show off your end-of-summer tan or wear tights underneath when it gets cooler
