It’s a challenge to find clothing that flatters without being overly revealing, but at the same time, is not frumpy or boring. I love clothes and fashion, so I thought I wo

When your tube dress needs a little personality — this orange crochet top is the answer. I threw it over a simple tube dress and instantly had a whole new outfit. The sleeve length is just right, it comes in a ton of colors, and it works harder than it has any right to. This is the kind of layering piece that makes everything in your closet more interesting.

If you are a woman over 40 you probably have lots of friends who are already walking with a weighted vest. There’s a good reason for that. There’s a lot of good studies out there that talk about the benefits of wearing a weighted vest. You should aim for a vest that’s about 10% of the your current body weight. That’s a good place to start. I love this particular one by @ Fitnessbecause it fits the female body very well. It lets you swing your arms and the weight is distributed evenly. If you’re committed to getting in your daily movement, you could really benefit from a walking pad. 🚶‍♀️For the days when it’s rainy outside, too hot, or too cold, this really comes in handy. I chose this brand because of the good reviews and the great price. I’m on the 42 1/2 inch but I’m 5 feet tall. I would say if you’re over 5’7” that you might go with the 48 1/2 inch model. They also offer it with an incline. It’s very easy to put together, lightweight, and portable. The handlebar helps you steady yourself a little bit and also is a handy place to put the remote and your phone. Make it easy on yourself and have your environment set up in a way that promotes activity. A walking pad is one way to do that. The 80s are BACK and I am here for every single second of it 🎉 If you were a teenager in the 80s, you already know — bold colors, fun prints, and off-the-shoulder everything was basically our uniform. This bright top + colorful skirt combo gave me all the nostalgia and I had to style it immediately. Styling note: this top actually comes with a higher neckline, but I made a small modification and cut it down around the neckline so it sits off the shoulder — and honestly it looks like it was made that way. Sometimes all it takes is a little scissors confidence. 😄 Also-this hits at the waist. I wore a tank underneath. I’m 5 ft and 115 and wearing a small. We didn’t survive the 80s just to blend into the background now. Save this if you’re ready to bring the energy back. 🙌
