Linden Labs made a recent announcement that gacha sales in Second Life will be banned starting September 1st, 2021.
As a result, the gacha machines at the Matova mainstore have been disabled until further notice. Choosing what to do with those items is a hard decision and not one that should be made too hastily. The last thing I want is for people to buy them now for them to become available later by some other means. Nobody likes to feel cheated.
Many in the community are coming up with creative ways to keep the spirit of gacha alive. I will be keeping an eye on those efforts along with checking caspervend to see what they come up with as well.
