This not so little guy..is on one of my fig trees. I was collecting leaves to make tea, and check on our last figs, and encounter him/her? It is about an inch to inch and a half. It is big..
What is it? I have to say, I have never seen one of these before!! LOL
Not sure I want to see one again!! 😕

My sleepyhead Pippa.. I love this little Roo. He had a hard and scary day as he got used as a chew toy by his sister and his puppy friend. Fortunately he is ok, his amazing doctor and the staff in Purcellville made sure he was ok. Thank goodness he is ok.. and thank goodness for an amazing Doctor and staff at our veterinarian clinic. They are wonderful.
Pippa hopefully will be back to his normal silly self tomorrow.. my sweet little stargazer! ♥️

What a great morning.. our beautiful, tiny little Juliette has finally come out of hiding!! I know her brother Romeo will be so happy to see her! They do everything together! We had a visiting dog guest who thought the birds were playmates.. they were not happy and she was so afraid, she went into hiding.. for more then a week!
She will be getting some treats of meal worms today to make her feel better!
So happy my little girl is ok!

My new little one.. her egg was so badly damaged we did not think she would make it.. but less then 36 hours ago, our new baby was born. She is a delight.. she believes I am her mom. How do I explain to her that her mom nearly killed her. The shell was smashed and the membrane was drying out, making it shrink wrap over her, and making it hard to get air. Glad I was collecting eggs and found her. No siblings, no mom.. just me. LOL
Lots of farm friends when she gets bigger.
Name ideas for a miracle.. we have a 4 week old named miracle as he almost didn't make it too. He is beautiful, and has 11 siblings!! LOL

My poor little girl Sweety.. the boys have pulled her feathers out and she is so done with them! LOL She prefers to hang out on our sofa and watch TV while she moves to her new studio apartment, with no roos!
