Our very first design was a real challenge because of its intricate details. We had to go back and forth, refining and tweaking it to get everything just right. The main hurdle was making it work for the modest market—ensuring it complemented different body shapes while staying full-length and modest. As you know, body shape isn’t tied to height, so we had to rethink the design to make it truly versatile.

We also had to adjust the V-neckline, as it originally sat too low. We’ve now reworked it into a higher V for better coverage and balance. The solution? Leaving the hem unfinished, so you can tailor it to your perfect length.

This pintuck style was one of the first we designed and sampled. However, the process of creating the pleats was complex due to the intricate design and associated costs, so we set it aside initially. When we displayed the style at LMF, the feedback we received was incredible. The original design featured a low V-neck and a fully open front, which wasn’t suitable. After making the necessary adjustments and sampling again, we now believe this piece is truly perfect.

Given the fitted nature of the dress, we carefully considered height and sizes. To allow you to choose your perfect length, we’ve left the hem unfinished.
