Today, Sikh World completes 18 years.

What started as a small idea slowly became a part of many people’s daily lives. At the time, there was no big plan - only a simple intention to serve the community with honesty and consistency.

Over the years, Sikh World has grown, changed, and learned. We’ve made mistakes, corrected ourselves, and improved step by step. Every year taught us something new about responsibility, trust, and doing business the right way.

18 years is a long time in business. It’s long enough to understand that growth doesn’t come from shortcuts. It comes from showing up every day, respecting the customer, and staying true to what you stand for.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey - customers, partners, and well-wishers who believed in us and supported us through the years.

Sikh World moves forward with the same values it started with - only stronger, wiser, and more committed than ever.

Today is the Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

He was born in Patna Sahib in 1666, but his childhood did not last long.

At a very young age, he lost his father Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, who gave his life standing for the right of others to live freely.

From that moment, responsibility was not a choice.
It became his life.

As a child, he grew up hearing about injustice, persecution, and sacrifice.

By the time he was young, that burden became his own.

He did not choose an easy path.
He chose a necessary one.
He built the Khalsa so Sikhs could live with dignity.
He stood against tyranny when silence would have been safer.
He accepted loss after loss - family, home, security - without turning away from his purpose.

And before leaving this world,
he gave Sikhs their eternal living Guru - Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, so no human would ever again hold that power.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji did not ask Sikhs to follow him blindly.
He showed them how to stand - straight, fearless, and grounded in faith.

On this Prakash Purab,
we remember not just his birth,
but a life that shaped Sikhi forever
with courage, sacrifice, and timeless wisdom.

Today, we remember the Shahidi of
Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Ji and Sahibzada Fateh Singh Ji.

They were just children.

One was 9 years old.
The other was only 6.

After being separated from Guru Gobind Singh Ji near the Sirsa River,
they were with Mata Gujri Ji.

Cold.
Hungry.
Already exhausted.

They were betrayed by Gangu,
someone they trusted.

They were taken to Sirhind
and brought before Wazir Khan.

These were not soldiers standing in court.
They were children.

They were offered comfort, safety, and life —
only if they gave up their Sikhi.

They refused.

To break them,
they were locked inside a cold tower with their grandmother.

When even that failed,
the cruelty went further.

They were bricked alive.

Two children were killed
not for what they did,
but for what they refused to become.

This cruelty still shakes the heart.

Today is their Shahidi day.

We bow our heads in respect
and remember the courage of
Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Ji
and Sahibzada Fateh Singh Ji.

“Soora so pehchaniye, jo lade deen ke het.”
(They alone are known as true warriors, who fight for righteousness.)

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji taught something very rare.
strength without anger, courage without violence, and faith without fear.

On his 350th Shaheedi Diwas, we wanted to share the teachings that still guide every Sikh today:

• Have courage, speak truth, stay steady.
• Fear nothing when your conscience is clean.
• Let go of greed, ego and attachment.
• Stand against injustice even when you stand alone.
• Practice compassion, humility and meditation every day.
• Protect the helpless and live fearlessly.

These lessons were not just words.
Guru Sahib lived every one of them even in his final moments.

In a world full of noise, his message remains simple:
“Stay true. Stay fearless. Stay grounded.”

May we all carry these teachings in our daily life.
Not just today, but every day.

350 years ago… something happened in India that still gives us goosebumps.

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji,
Hind Di Chadar,
stood up for people who could not stand up for themselves.

He didn’t fight for land.
He didn’t fight for power.
He fought for one basic right:
Let every person choose their own faith.

When Guru Sahib was taken to Delhi,
three brave Sikhs walked with him:
Bhai Mati Das, Bhai Sati Das and Bhai Dayal Das.
Their sacrifice was beyond anything we can imagine.

Bhai Mati Das Ji was sawn in half.
Bhai Dayal Das Ji was boiled alive.
Bhai Sati Das Ji was wrapped in cotton and burnt.

And still… Guru Sahib did not step back.
He accepted shaheedi with complete peace and courage.

“Sir diya, par sir na diya.”
(They gave their head, but never their principles.)

On this 350th Shaheedi Diwas,
let’s remember something simple:

Freedom is not free.
Someone paid the price long before we were born.

Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji didn’t just protect Sikhs.
He protected humanity.

May we learn courage from him.
May we learn compassion from him.
And may we never forget what he stood for.

Satguru Ji, lakh lakh shukar. 🙏

We honestly didn’t expect this. 😅

Our DMs are full. Phones keep buzzing.

People walking in saying “Veere, mere friend ne tuhade kolon lita si, main v oh hi chahida.”

We just wanted to bring better style and comfort for the Sikh community… but looks like we also created a full-on trend. 😎

From bandanas to turbans - everything’s flying off the shelves faster than we can restock.

Maybe it’s the colours.
Maybe it’s the vibe.

Or maybe… it’s just that feeling of “eh mera brand hai.” ❤️

The world doesn’t need more noise.
It needs more Naam.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s message was simple

Kirat Karo - work honestly.
Vand Chhako - share what you earn.
Naam Japo - remember the One.

500 years later, that simplicity still feels revolutionary. ✨

Because truth never ages,
it just waits to be lived again.

Happy Gurupurab 🙏
