I came on here tonight to beg people to vote for me in a Supermom contest. I know it's my business page but this is me, asking for help, which is a very difficult thing to do. The end game is to win the final prize of $20000. I wish I could say it would be donated or used for a fun cause.
The reality is it will be used to pay my lawyer to finish off my custody stuff. And by my custody stuff it's paying for what my son wants and needs.
My initial thought was that I would share a pic of Alex and I when he was an itty bitty baby. When being a super mom just felt easy and natural and I could never imagine having to put on a cape and change our lives.
And I realise that's a lie because I had those thoughts the night he was born. That I might have to put that cape on that night and change the course of our lives.
But back to the photo I was looking for. I went back in my Google images and there is nothing of us in that first week. Nothing. Even pictures of just him that I know existed aren't there.
That's not a moment I can get back. It's devastating to know that no one in that first 6 days thought to take a picture of us. If they did I never saw it. Two people who went through the wringer of the birthing process (it was a whole other story). Nothing.
So if you all start or continue to vote and I win, I might just have to actually, finally get professional photos done.

Desk goose clothing haul! How did I do.
