I have the longest hem ever to hand stitch. Perfect sewing Sunday job when is on tv and getting over the worst case of end of term-itus anyone has ever had ever (a symptom of which is exaggeration and feeling sorry for oneself )

Always a little late to the party, but thanks to a super generous donation of a new phone, we can be in different locations and I can still keep an eye on the blood sugars. This is just the thin end of what we have been offered and the tech that can make life easier. All funded and provided by the NHS, long love the queen of health care…

Impromptu meal out, apparently my go to wedding smile face is not de rigueur, I can’t help it that I’m not the pretty one inthe family (someone’s got to be the brains, or at least in charge of the to do list), but I feel I nailed the right air of deference for the minutes silence and an expresso martini is .

So today I made a robe fit for a king…(that red and gold though 🥰) and a bolognaise sauce in my new slow cooker thingy. My gracious model has a touch of the Wolf hall about him…I think it’s the beard and the grey uniform polo…so regal, some might say majestic 🤴
All hail Gordon of Aslef.
It needs work 😉, and the cape needs hemming and the bog needs to be lasagna (apparently).

Last day of the holidays being tourists in our own postcode. These two have been such funsters this holiday. I shall miss this version of us but know that term time us’ is also pretty awesome.
And because we love a holiday motif…icecreams in hello kitty heads from …yum!
