Like most of us, I like a bit of change in my home décor every now and then. Last year, I went out shopping for pillows for my gray couch. I knew I wanted a pillow that was unique yet colorful, modern yet timeless, and more importantly I felt the need to shop quality and local. To my disappointment, I couldn’t find anything in the Montreal stores I visited that caught my eye, that told me a story
or made me think “that’s it!”. Unfortunately, most of the pillows I came across were also factory made somewhere around the world, and I still insisted on buying Canadian. So I decided to buckle down and design my own. With my graphic design background, that was no hard task. Ideas started flowing, and soon enough they got translated onto a concrete design that I loved. Today, I am thrilled to announce my new line of designer silk scarves and pillows. All of my creations are designed by me, and produced in a small studio in Montreal Canada, where they handle everything from printing, sewing and quality control in house. It is an eco friendly facility where they also only use fade-resistant solvent-free inks. All the creations that we have will sure meet excellent Canadian quality standards and will last without fading. But more importantly they are made sweatshop free and to order.
