Who is Felix Sebastian?
His story begins in Richmond,VA where he was born on May 28th as Felix Johnson.
Always having a passion for design and creativity, Felix always had the desire to learn and develop himself into being what some would call a Renaissance man. In his desire to challenge himself, he began playing the piano, viola, cello, french horn to name a few, all of which were self taught.
His creative interest transitioned into writing during his later school years. Through his desire to learn more about fashion and business, he worked in retail since the age of 16 and managed stores across all facets of the business with retailers/ brands such as Macy's, Dior and Prada. Throughout his career, opportunities have lead him to work in various capacities as a wardrobe consultant and fashion stylist in some of the biggest cities in the US (Atlanta, Philadelphia, DC, And NYC).
To further develop and curve his lust for learning, he attended several colleges and universities like Morehouse College and VCU until realizing school wasn't a good fit and preferred learning from real world experiences. These experiences were the catalyst behind the creation of Fameish Jewelry in 2012. Fameish had relative success but failed shortly after due to the lack of financing to fit the customer demand. In 2014 , Felix went back to school to study bench jewelry at Studio Jewelers in NYC to learn how to handcraft pieces. felixSEBASTIAN Jewelry was born in 2019, from the learning of years prior and a higher level of commitment to succeed fueled by passion and purpose. Felix is the man that has always been curious about the world and Sebastian is the man that is not too afraid to tackle it!
felixSEBASTIAN Jewelry is a unisex jewelry line that incorporates both fashion and fine architecturally designed pieces manufactured in LA. The purpose of the line is to provide jewelry that makes a bold statement with inspiration from Felix’s own interpretation of how design can influence your journey through life, as it did for him.
