There is always a story and a team of designers behind the process of creating our exclusively developed prints and designs.

Each garment is made in our workshop in Johannesburg and due to our focus on high quality, we have a limited production. African Style Story is a "made in South Africa" clothing label where all garments are manufactured in Johannesburg by local tailors and seamstresses. At African Style Story we combine a diversity of high quality solid fabrics with Mozambican traditional cloth "capulana". Posted • We've designed a boyfriend fit cardi and matched it with an artwork by South African artist and printmaker, Bevan de Wet.

The original 'Cascade' artwork is nothing short of breathtaking IRL, it is part of a series of handmade paper layers, carefully cut out of in creation of the graphic forms reinterpreted into our cardi. 🙌

'Set up' with the Cascade Skirt, or not, that's totally up to you. 😉
