Being well dressed is also about timing; buying smart when the time is right. Of course, with our custom made suits and sport coats, it takes about 6-8 weeks depending on the fabrics chosen and design to complete a garment for our first fitting, which is why we encourage our clients to consider the seasons at least 3 months ahead.

For example, we recommend getting your Spring/Summer wardrobe commissioned in January/February in order to accommodate the seasons for Spring & Summer come March and April. This is also why we release our lightweight suitings and sport coats in December, to allow for ample time to order your custom clothing.

Our overcoats are made with procured rare natural fibers that possess the quality to wick off moisture, dirt, and any other particles right off the top layer of the fabric with just a bit of brushing. The classic navy custom suit, while of course it’s the most renowned essential piece that EVERYONE says they need, the navy custom suit does not have to be as boring as man people think either. One of our favorite examples of this is our Drago 130’s Blue Houndstooth custom suit, which takes a very subdued houndstooth pattern to provide the slightest bit of texture, without taking away from the overall professional solid nature of this suit. And of course, this isn’t the only example of blue and navy suits that we custom make for our clients. All available by appointment only in our Garden City, New York showroom.

While green sport coats may be very popular right now in the tailoring community, we find that in our opinion, red and mulberry custom sport coats are under-appreciated. These sport coats are classy, surprisingly easy to wear contrary to what most people think, and gorgesouly fashion forward. Of course we offer red sport coats in both patterns and textures as well as classic solids. All available by appointment only in our Garden City, New York showroom.

A green custom suit is one of our personal favorite looks that works with most wedding themes, from destination weddings to even the most formal mansion weddings. And of course, there are many shades of greens available, as exemplified by one of our esteemed clients in his olive-lime green suit here. We also have teal-greens, seafoams, true lime greens, and heritage olives as well.

A custom tailored dress pant can completely change not only the outfit, but the wardrobe itself. The custom dress pant can either be crafted in a subdued, well fitted flat front trouser style for a more “under the radar” yet refined type of style, or they can take on a life of their own as the centerpiece, being adorned with gorgeous pleating details and buckle hardware to add a bit more of a heritage tailoring flair. These pants can be worn just as easily to the office with sport coarts and dress shirts as they can be worn slightly casually, with a well fitted t-shirt or polo for an everyday polished look.
