Lots of workshops in the planning stages!

Have you seen the super cute quilted sneakers that everyone is making?? I *just* unboxed my kit this morning. Now I have to decide what fabric to use and get sewing!

This will be one of the many upcoming workshops and classes offered at Mrs. Vaccas Sewing School this year.

Did you know that not only can you repurpose a quilt for your own jacket you can make one for the little people in your life???

This finish by Megan is so sweet and so perfect for her daughter, it’s also reversible!

Even though it’s been hot and steamy lately check out the beautiful finishes from our quilted jacket workshop!

One of my favorite things when I teach a workshop is to see what fabrics my students choose and how that reflects their individuality.

Some students choose pre quilted fabrics, some quilted their own. Some jackets are reversible, others aren’t.

All of them are gorgeous!!

We recently had the pleasure of hosting Evelyn’s 11th birthday party! What a great group of young woman!!

The group made pillows with an appliquéd initial on one side. Such a great project for first time sewists!
