The second collection Red Yellow Black brings to the table is our “Humour Collection”. In this range, we recreate our most common humorous perspectives on Aboriginal life. And the last collection relates to our deep sense of culture & identity. Red Yellow Black Contemporary Indigenous Streetwear is a clothing line that is exclusively about expressing Aboriginal peoples pride, humour and culture. It’s a brand that’s been created out of the unmeasurable recognition that our people have a deep sense of suffering and anguish but an even deeper sense of pride and humour. And when given the choice to laugh or cry, our people have always chosen humour and pride as a way to carry us through the carnage of our cultural abyss. That's why when Red Yellow Black noticed a gap in the market of Indigenous clothing brands that wasn’t made up of traditional dot painting, x-ray's and cross hatching styles, it wanted to create a contemporary and independent range of political and satirical apparel that inspires our mob to laugh even harder when finding their own unique voice in the fight for Indigenous recognition. Along the way, Red Yellow Black has designed hundreds of simple and unique slogans and designs, made specifically for mob by mob. We want to be Indigenous communities premier online “go to store” when there are survival day rallies, marches for land and country or just when our people and youth are looking to express themselves in this day and age. Red Yellow Black’s debut range of products & clothing initially will include men's shirts, women's shirts, hoodies, crops, long sleeves, kids tees & bubba onesies. Then as Red Yellow Black grows, it aim's to branch out into hats, accessories, home and living. Red Yellow Black also acknowledges and pays its respects to the past, present and future traditional custodians & elders of this nation and for the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples.
