The family that drags together…. Stays together!!! crow and I got to help make their FABULORIAN dreams come true with the addition of a purple cape, custom dyed jumpsuit and mini-robe for Grogu! Swipe for more pics of the super cute bag we made for his travels as well. 3d printed the helmet and made the foam armor! Flynn you look amazing! Goddess drag in time for Dandy last Friday✨ leather bodice with steel-boned inner liner, gold lame skirt and removable 2 tone sleeves in rose and gold. ✨
This bodice was an exercise in using scraps to create a matching look for .crow ‘s armor. The pieces of leather were odd shapes and sizes, so I cut my regular princess bodice pattern into a 10 panel top with an internal liner for structure. I used my regular brother machine so the leather just “floats” on top of the liner. Multi-surface acrylic paint in gold worked really well to turn the brown base of the leather gold and remained surprisingly soft and moveable. Finished with a combo of hand and machine stitching.

Glamour comes in many forms! So happy with how this look for turned out. A loving collaboration to bring a monster to life for the amazing Princx Pageant from the producers of .4evr ! This is one of the most mixed-material looks I’ve done in ages and it was fun to work with leather, vinyl, metal, fur and fabric all at once.

Dandy & Vixen seeks to create a more visibly q***r world by turning visuals from bygone eras, dandyism, and camp asthetics into wearable drama. Be glamorous, be handsome, design yourself.

Ruby learned to sew when she was 10 from her mother. When her designs became to outlandish and specific, she was handed control of the family sewing machine and told to 'go forth and sew it yourself'. A 3rd generation seamstress from a family chock-full of artists, Ruby considers sewing 'the family business'.

Dandy & Vixen is the culmination of 20+ years of dreaming. Helping people look the way they want and doing it beautifully is at the heart of what we do. We believe in the transformative power of drag to help us manifest ourselves more fully to the world.

Dandy is handmade in Oakland, California by Ms. Ruby Vixen.
