CREATING BEAUTY ~ EYE APPEAL and INSPIRATION ...
Having spent so much time at home during the past 3 months ... are you feeling like creating more cosiness, more beauty and meaning in your space ... Colours and personal items that please the eye and are a reflection of you? Sparse, clinical spaces are no longer the trend (thank goodness!) ... they are impersonal, lack inspiration for the dweller and do not delight the eye!
Here are some samples of groupings ... look for items that look agreeable together ... having something in common either in colour, material or form ... be aware that the spaces between the objects are as important as the objects themselves ... also remember to bring the outdoors in ... it makes a room come to life and ... helps improve air quality!
Now most of these groupings have been created with Antique and traditional pieces ... however pleasing effects can be achieved just as well with retro and modern objects.
Have a play and don't be afraid to mix styles ... so long as they have something in common.
