The Simon’s Bay Mile – Women’s Day Swim 2026. A celebration on almost Women’s Day with a beautiful women-only swim in the stunning waters of Simon’s Town! 💙

Women of all ages, whether you’re a skins swimmer or a wetsuit swimmer, took to the water just after 8:30am.

Mother and Daughter swim together!

The Simon's Bay Mile – Women's Day Swim is a women-only open-water swimming event held annually on 9 August (Women's Day) in Simon's Town, Cape Town. It is promoted as South Africa's only women's mile swim.

Button Wear are proud to be a supporter of this incredible event since 2021.

Look out for my rail at registration, robes in assorted colours, long sleeves or sleeveless.

Hello from Potsdam, Germany.

The Marble Palace (Marmorpalais) is one of the highlights of Potsdam and is well worth visiting if you're interested in Prussian history and architecture.

It was built between 1787 and 1793 as the summer residence of King Frederick William II of Prussia, the nephew and successor of Frederick the Great. Unlike the Rococo style of Sanssouci Palace, the Marble Palace is one of the earliest and finest examples of Neoclassical architecture in Prussia.

Here our model is wearing her mustard colour poplin dress, happy to be Button Wear whilst exploring these beautiful sights. Poplin fabric is made from 100% cotton, which is cool enough to wear in the European heat!
