The Hunters Code
“Respect The Hunted”
Who are we and what are we on about………….. You might ask?
Once only a vision, a couple of guys with the love for Hunting and Outdoors.
A group of friends that can’t wait for the next hunt, the next fishing experience or even the once in every 3 months camping expedition.
Why the Slogan “Respect the Hunted” Let’s Explain
Being A Millennial we were raised by a hardcore generation, respect was not an option it was due. You were told to greet by hand and everyone older than you was either Oom or Tannie.
The same goes with Hunting, fishing and the Outdoors. You need to respect the Outdoors. You can be out and about and next moment catastrophic weather conditions can have you cold or wet or even sweating like you put foot in Hell.
No Hunter, and I mean no Hunter can say they have had a good hunt every hunt. You either had a good shot or a bad shot or there is a wounded animal running around with a piece of lead in him that came from your guns barrel.
The Germans have this great way of respect for hunting where a piece of bush or grass are place in the animal’s mouth and another on your cap with the simple words Waidmannsheil – Weidmannsdank meaning Good Hunting and Thank you for the wish. Amazing isn’t it….
With Hunting becoming such an obvious thing these days the true tradition of Hunting is being let down. We are all taking it for granted. Yes, it’s definitely not the cheapest of hobbies anymore although everyone does it. But do we really consider how lucky we are to go hunting once, twice or even 3 times a year.
We “The Hunters Code” want YOU to join our community of Hunters , people with the love for outdoors , Hunting of animals , fishing etc etc.
People who are recognized as leaders in Respecting what God put on earth.People who give back to a community of people.
Stand out from the crowd, become part of something great. A community of Hunters with respect for the Hunted.
