You may have noticed things have been quiet on our side for a while.
The truth is, we entered a season of reflection. Sales were not what we had hoped for, and something we believed would bring comfort and joy did not quite find its place in the way we imagined.
So we paused. We listened. And we asked what this story is really meant to become.
In 2020, Sara founded Project Hope in the Valley of 1000 Hills — a place where so many children grow up facing the daily weight of poverty, but also carry incredible strength, light, and potential.
What began with supporting little ones through early childhood development has slowly and beautifully grown into something more — walking alongside families too, especially parents, helping them build skills, dignity, and pathways to income.
And from this journey, something new has gently taken shape.
Beddy Boo is now becoming part of the wider story of Project Hope.
What started as a small idea for comfort and care is now transforming into something deeply meaningful — a way to create opportunity, dignity, and hope for families.
Our pyjama patterns and designs will now be made by the mothers in our programmes. Mothers who are strong, capable, and full of talent — simply needing the chance to be seen and supported. Through this, something as simple as sleepwear becomes a way to help put food on the table, build confidence, and restore hope in a home.
Very soon, we will be releasing our final Beddy Boo stock at cost, before stepping fully into this new chapter — and we will gently guide you there when the time comes.
Beddy Boo has been a journey filled with love, learning, and heart for Marianette and Sara. And now it becomes part of something even bigger — a living story of hope carried by many hands, many homes, and many futures.
From comfort… to dignity. From product… to purpose. From one small idea… to many lives changed.
