Waiting for my Netflix interview on the wives of medical registrars that had 2 under 2 while managing their own professional careers. This has not been for the faint hearted!

Moving for hospital placements, moving back into my parents house during a freeze on posts while having our first baby, being separated when posts opened up again, another move and having tiny babies with no village has been a real challenge. That being said, I take my hat off to single mothers. I don’t know how you do it 🩷

Your career is entirely in your hands. You craft it as you wish. Don’t forget that. If you hit roadblocks, it’s for you to navigate how to level up. You are responsible for the quality of your deliverables, the trust you build in your professional relationships and your reputation. You govern your career, not your employer. Make sure you’re always in the driver’s seat and hit that accelerator. Don’t be tempted to be a passenger in your own career.
