At the media launch hosted by at , .sa officially launched the Local Fashion Police competition and unveiled this year’s esteemed panel of LFP judges: , , and ._.

As someone who always feels proud when stitching and posting my ‘Made in South Africa’ label, walking away from the room, I felt truly seen.

You can enter the Local Fashion Police 2026 competition by wearing South African brands and posting your look. Show your ‘Made in South Africa’ label, and tag the designers and brands you’re wearing.

This is more than fashion. It’s about jobs, craftsmanship, identity, and building an economy that wears its own. When we choose local, we choose each other.

Place me in a room of fashion, art, music, a good cause, and my heart and imagination are ignited. Last night was an ethereal experience.🥹

220 scarves. 1 chandelier. Honouring Madiba by doing.🧶❤️

There’s a place in every heart, and I watched and listened to so many, like , that have filled it with love and purpose. What a beautiful experience it was to hear of ’s observations on colour and design at Graham Contemporary, and to listen to the joyful violin sounds of Buskaid.

Visit the chandelier installation at Hydepark Corner Centre Court, by the incredible 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day KnitWits, as well as the world renowned work of MaXhosa Africa, and other amazing designers.

My highlight was definitely meeting Laduma Ngxokolo.
