WE ARE FAMILY…

This was such a fun day shooting some behind the scenes footage for our website, new catalogues, marketing and advertising. These ladies make me laugh and they make me smile. They have a real@deep proper zest for life and every single one of them so SUPER talented. We are SO blessed to have them as part of our COCOON South Africa story and our team! I love and appreciate you special ladies. If it wasn’t for you, there would be no us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the stitches, the laughter and the love. You are the heartbeat of what we do and why we do it! Here’s to many more years of working together! Thank you Jesus ✝️

OH THE JOY…

Ah what a day, what a JOY, What a BLESSING!
It’s actually taken me a day to process all the happiness and the full circle moment. Sjoe I even got a little teary eyed on set. Just so grateful. I have prayed for some time since the start of that one day we would be able to attend a proper big show at the . It’s good to have dreams and it’s even more powerful to pray to God that if those dreams should be his desire that they will come to fruition! Well, after many years it HAS come TRUE! I am SO thrilled to announce that COCOON South Africa will be exhibiting at the amazing Cape Town Convention Centre in June! Pinch me NOW!

None of this would have been possible without the prompting and heart of Jani .kings.daughter_ and the truly beautiful soul that is Cheryl and her ammmmazibg team in Worcester . Thank you for believing in our brand from the moment we walked through the office door. You are all awesome and you have no idea just how much I appreciate all your hard work an dedication to getting us there.

And then some extra thanks to the powerhouse that is Caren of Green Mile Designs and the truly God gifted and talented , who both worked so hard and so tirelessly to bring our brand to life with this incredible photoshoot which will be used for advertising and socials all leading to Decorex and hopefully many more shows in the years ahead!

Thank you ALL, seriously, each and every one of you for being on this journey with me, the highs, the lows, the in-betweens. Every like, every share, every purchase, every smile or message of encouragement. We would not be here now if it wasn’t for all that LOVE and Gees which gave me the strength to follow Gods path for me.

What looked like defeat was actually the greatest victory ✝️=🩷

Oh Jesus, this is such a day for us as Christian’s, knowing what you sacrificed for US!!!

Every sin, every burden and every failure was carried by YOU and because of the cross, we can live forgiven, free, and restored🌿

If it wasn’t for having JESUS in my life this homemade with love, eco friendly & ethical brand wouldn’t even be here. He has given me strength during the hardest battles, forgiveness during the trials and the freedom to live, 100% restored because of what he sacrificed for US!

WELL HELLO THERE…

I asked my team to upcycle one of my old bags using our new gorgeous bespoke hardware from and this fabulous new pattern webbing strap. I am SO super chuffed with how it turned out! What do you think?

We have been playing around behind the scenes with our original duffel bag that we loved BUT here we have our MOST gorgeous BRAND NEW DUFFEL…what’s different I hear you ask?
- lined in a beautiful purple thick 100% cotton piped with cream cotton
- new double handles with 100% local branded hardware
- double handles so that it’s NOT only a duffel BUT…. Drum roll please a DUFFEL PACK!!!! What is that I hear you cry?

Well! It’s a Duffel bag/ Back pack!!!! So you can either sling the duffel over your shoulder, adjust the straps and wear it cross body OR a strap over each shoulder and the backpack swivels to be a cylinder duffel pack! Whooooooop!!!!
