You don't need anyone's permission to take up space on Facebook or wherever you need to show up to do what you are MEANT to do!

But I know it doesn't always feel that way.

Maybe you're on these platforms but you've been feeling like a "consumer", and not a "creator". Liking other people's posts. Thinking "I should post something" and then… not.

Can I be honest with you? The visible women (and men) aren't more qualified than you. They're not smarter. They're not braver. They just decided to start - messy, imperfect, and scared.

And one of the smallest things that gave many of them a surprising confidence boost? Knowing they LOOKED the part.

Not in a superficial way. In a "my profile picture, my colours, my visual presence actually reflects who I am" way. When your outside matches your inside, posting feels less like performing and more like… showing up.

So if you've been waiting for the "right time" to build your personal brand, here's your sign. Start with something easy.

My free Pantone Matched Colour Analysis takes a couple of minutes and gives you a personalised colour palette that's genuinely yours. It's a small step, but it's the kind of small step that makes the next one easier.

Start here - no cost, no catch:

Hi everyone,

I've just created a checklist especially for my Facebook Community.

Yes, it's your personal brand checklist for this week (save this):

If you've been saying "I need to work on my personal brand" for months but haven't started — here's your nudge. Pick ONE thing from this list and do it before Friday:

1) Update your LinkedIn or Facebook (or both) headline to say what you DO, not just your job title.
2) Swap your banner image for something that reflects your brand (not just the default banner).
3) Find out which colours actually suit you (I've got a free tool for this — link below).
4) Post ONE thing this week that shares your perspective, not just a reshare.
5) Look at your last 5 posts — do they visually look like they came from the same person?

Personal branding isn't about becoming someone you're not. It's about letting people see who you already are — clearly, consistently, and confidently.

And yes, colour is a bigger piece of that puzzle than most people realise.

If you're not sure where to start with your visual brand, my free Pantone Matched Colour Analysis will give you a personalised palette you can start using immediately — on LinkedIn, on your website, everywhere.

What are you waiting for?

Nobody wakes up one morning and suddenly "has a personal brand."

Here's what actually happens:
You start paying attention to how you show up.
Not in a performative way. Not in an "I need to go viral" way. In a "what do I actually want people to know about me" way.

And one of the simplest, most overlooked starting points? Your colour story.

Think about it - before anyone reads your post, clicks your profile, or hears your pitch… they see you. Your headshot. Your banner. Your content graphics.

Colour is your first impression before you ever say a word.

Most women skip this step entirely. They grab whatever colours "look nice" and hope for the best. But when your colours actually match YOUR energy, your skin tone, your vibe? Everything starts to click.

Your content looks more intentional. Your profile feels more "you." And people start to remember you - not just scroll past you.

I created a free Pantone Matched Colour Analysis to help you figure out exactly which colours make you look and feel like the most powerful version of yourself.

No guesswork. No generic "you're a Spring" quizzes. Just your colours, matched to you.

Grab yours here - it's completely free:

Fashion Brands usually start with a passionate entrepreneur that see a gap in the market.

Then they create for this gap their unique interpretation of fashion merchandise. They deeply care about their products, clients and their business.

Herewith my top list of benefits when buying from (local) brands:

✨ Quality: with established brands you can be assured of quality. They’ve spent many years perfecting their supply chain and when you buy from your favourite brand, you know what you’re getting.

✨ In-store Experience: the most powerful way to connect or customers is still the in-store experience - and I’m not complaining. Stores that offer a great shopping experience still gets my money over online spending.

✨ Customer Service: the CPA governs terms of sales. Make sure the brands you buy from give you the legal protection when making purchasing decisions. A quality brand will always have a legal return policy.

✨ You are supporting jobs: the Government’s plan is to increase jobs in the Fashion and Textile industry to 330 000 in SA by 2030. They aim to do this by increasing all products for sale in South African stores from 44% locally produced to 65%, locally produced.

➡️ Tag your favourite fashion brand below and tell us why you love buying from them.

About me and about The Outfox Fashion Group…

I’ve expanded my Services significantly in this season to include a Digital Branding Agency and I’ve also seen an increase in demand for Corporate Training and Public Speaking engagements.

I love working with Corporates and the most common theme I’m hearing in boardroom discussions is about their people, their staff.

They are looking for ways to uplift and encourage, to cast their vision once again and to spark new life and creativity in their employees.

I do half day and full day Speaking Engagements and Training, not only talking vision but also how we can use uniform and fashion, colour and style to bring new life and excitement back to the Corporate World.

DM me for any information or for a quotation 📈✨

Lookbooks must be one of my favourite digital services to my clients.

You can make use of this service on its own and the main goal is to save you time and effort whenever you need to get dressed!

Let’s be honest, on some days, whatever we try - the outfits we try to put together just ain’t workin 😅 Yes, I’ve been there too…

So through using Lookbooks, I take all the guesswork out and you have access to all the looks created for you on your Personalised Homescreen App - (on your phone)…

This could include clothing that you own OR I’m able to show you how certain items available on online shopping platforms can work with what you already own.

You can then shop these items through the App as well.

If you can preplan your meals - why can’t you preplan your outfits?

Just a thought!!! 😉

Have you ever used Complementary Colours in your outfits?

The use of pastels will have a more subtle impact and brighter, more saturated colours will make that "Wow, gasp!" entrance into a room.

An easy way to find Complementary Colours is to look at a simple colour wheel and to choose "opposite colours".

Drop your favourite combination in the comments below ⬇️

Have you ever struggled finding a good name for your Fashion Business or a new venture?

All great fashion brands and businesses have great names - it sets the tone for everything that follows, from branding to design and beyond.

But what makes a name great?

If you study it out, the names are usually short, to the point and it describes the particular line of business that someone is in. If you have a name or surname that is “brand-able” - you can also go with that.

Who wants to argue with the name Chanel, named after Coco Chanel? Not me!

But perhaps more important than anything is that when you choose a name, stay with it - because if you are continually rebranding you will not only confuse your market, you will dilute it.

Also, try to stay away from quirky abbreviations that only you will understand, unless it has a ring to it or it can be connected back to your industry or it has a powerful brand story behind it.

What do you think are other fundamentals to include when thinking of a name for a Fashion Business or a business, in general?

The Fashion Industry has moved in a great way from in person to virtual during the course of the last two years and Fashion Styling has been no exception!

I’ve done research and the Virtual Styling market in South Africa is basically non existent but it’s booming Internationally in cities like Los Angeles and London.

This is a Cutting-Edge-No-Fuss and Highly Educational Service that gets into the basics of your Style in 60 min.

The best news? It’s all done online AND I’m offering it at R997.
