Currently in production for local and international clients, our Cork Wine Coolers are taking shape in small, medium and large sizes, available in both light and dark cork finishes.

Our Cork Wine Coolers and Ice Buckets have been part of our collection for many years and remain as popular today as when they were first launched. For centuries, cork has been synonymous with wine; here, the material is redefined as a vessel for cooling and serving it.

Natural, recyclable and highly insulating, cork keeps bottles chilled while remaining lightweight, durable and tactile. Each piece is fitted with a robust aluminium inner liner designed to hold ice, wine or champagne, with an open form that allows for effortless serving.

A distinctive, functional object designed for hospitality environments and private interiors alike.

Our Round Glass Vase Collection has formed part of our core range since the very beginning.

The original collection continues to be produced in Africa by using 100% recycled clear glass. Available in small and medium, each vase is finished with a custom hand-turned cork closure in either light or dark cork.

Building on this established range, we have introduced a limited edition of our Round Glass Vases in coloured glass, handmade in Portugal and available in small, medium and large sizes. The pieces are now available to view at our Cape Town studio.

Our Standard Ceramic Side Table.

Currently in production, we have a number of tables underway in Dark Amber, Emerald Green and Forest Green glazed tile finishes, each bringing its own character to the design.

Handmade reactive glazed tiles are inlaid within a black powder-coated stainless steel frame and finished with black grout. Turned timber legs, available in either Walnut or Ash, add warmth and balance to the piece.

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the table can also be customised to suit individual project requirements.

As each reactive glazed tile is fired individually, subtle variations in colour and finish form part of what makes every piece unique.

The Large Cork Pendant.

Cork lends itself beautifully to bold, sculptural forms, accommodating thick, curved shapes that would be difficult to achieve in steel or timber due to weight, stability, and cost constraints.

As a sustainable, plant-based material with remarkable versatility, cork has inspired us to push the boundaries of scale and product design. The result is the world’s largest cork pendant: a striking statement piece with a shade spanning nearly one metre, celebrating both innovation and sustainable design.

Available in 100% natural light or dark cork, the standing version measures 2.8m high, 1.8m long and 900mm wide.

This product is also available in ceiling-mounted and wall-mounted versions.

Viewing is available by appointment at our Cape Town showroom.

In the making: a custom cork lectern for the Portuguese Ambassador to South Africa.

Designed and manufactured for a special exhibition at the Portuguese Embassy in Pretoria, the piece formed part of the National Portugal Day celebrations and a broader presentation on cork, supported by .

As the world’s largest producer of cork, Portugal has a deep connection to this natural material. For this exhibition, the lectern became a way to showcase cork not only as a sustainable resource, but as a material capable of refined and functional design.

Working with cork in this way is always a balance of precision, form and material understanding. It requires knowing how the material behaves, how far it can be pushed, and how to honour its natural character through design.

A material rooted in nature, shaped through craft and reimagined for a contemporary context.

The Gallery of Treasures the Lebombo Lodge

A project we worked on for months is now on permanent display at the lodge.

We were invited by Singita to create a unique installation and series of artworks alongside fellow artists , and , as part of a curated collection of contemporary works created specifically for this extraordinary setting.

The final work consists of a 2,8m Nile crocodile, a life-size Temminck’s pangolin, carved giraffe, lion and hyena skulls, arranged within a 4.5-metre composition.

The project has also been featured in the latest edition, Volume 21: Roam Off the Map.

We have worked with Singita for 14 years, and while creating this installation, we had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the lodge.

During our stay, we were placed in a room featuring one of our cork low tables with custom glass inlay, originally commissioned by in 2015. It was a special moment to see the piece still in use 11 years later.

Projects like this remind us of the powerful connection between art, nature and place. Drawing inspiration from the wildlife and landscapes that define this region, the installation reflects the stories held within the land itself. We hope the work encourages visitors to pause, look closer and experience a deeper sense of connection with the natural world around them.

Introducing the Tondo Table, our new sculptural cork side table.

This concept has been in development in our studio for some time. Although we have produced similar pieces before, we never had the chance to properly document or share them. The Tondo Table gave us the opportunity to revisit the idea, refine the form and present it as a resolved piece within our collection.
The piece was developed in time for a very special exhibition at the Portuguese Embassy in Pretoria, presented as part of National Portugal Day.

The exhibition celebrated cork as one of Portugal’s most significant natural materials, with recognised as the world’s largest cork producer and a global leader in the industry. Requested by the Portuguese Ambassador to South Africa and supported by , the exhibition featured a wide selection of our studio’s work, alongside specialist industry products from Amorim, celebrating the many possibilities of cork across design, craft and industry.

The result is the Tondo Table, a rounded cork side table with three solid cork legs, circular and curved in shape, with softly detailed cork edges and a solid n**e porcelain inlay. The contrast between the warm, textured cork and the smooth porcelain surface gives the piece a quiet, sculptural presence.

I love the honesty of this piece. It is simple in form, organic in shape and direct in its use of material. It is also a reminder of how versatile cork can be, especially when approached as both a natural and architectural material.

Over the years, we’ve designed and installed custom cork wall panels for a wide range of projects,from private homes and hospitality spaces to corporate offices and commercial interiors.

One of the things we love most about working with cork is its versatility. Whether it’s a clean, minimal finish or a highly textured, sculptural feature wall, the possibilities are almost endless. Each project presents an opportunity to create something unique, tailored to the space and the people who use it.

But what makes cork wall panelling so special goes far beyond aesthetics. Cork is naturally acoustic, helping to reduce noise and improve sound quality within a space. It’s also a natural thermal insulator, helping to regulate temperature, and offers excellent fire-resistant properties. Sustainable and beautiful, it’s a material that performs as well as it looks.
