This is what happened to Ruth that day and these are only some of the injuries she sustained that day. Honestly, that leaked argument should not shift the focus from the reality of things.

She was abused, brutalized and Physically assaulted even while she was pregnant. The video that’s circulating clearly shows someone who had reached a breaking point after constant suffering. How do you beat a woman to the point of breaking a bone? Nothing can justify that.

No one deserves to go through what she went through. Let’s not mock victims. Let’s keep the focus on the real issue the violence and trauma not on a video clearly meant to discredit her.

We say no to to Gender Based Violence.
