Thank you Hon Senator Dr James Makamba for entrusting Mimi's Empowerment Centre with the contract to produce the detergents which you donated in Mt Darwin District hospitals and clinics.

The 1st of January is a special day for me, not just because it marks the beginning of a new year, but because it is a day I reflect on the goodness of God in my life. Each 1st of January, I get to add another year to my life. This coming year, my birthday celebration will be different as I celebrate it in my beloved hometown of Mt. Darwin. I will be visiting two hospitals and three clinics, leaving behind not just donations but also a message of hope and support for the amazing workers in those institutions. For me, celebrating these individuals brings so much joy and peace. They have dedicated themselves to serving their community, a community l grew up in, and this is an opportunity to honor them.

Each facility will receive US$500 to assist with their specific needs, along with essential detergents produced by Mimi's Empowerment Centre to help keep our environment safe and clean. The 1st of January is a special day for me, not just because it marks the beginning of a new year, but because it is a day I reflect on the goodness of God in my life.

As we approach the festive season, I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Let us continue to uplift one another and spread kindness in our community. Together, we can make a difference! This truly is a birthday with a difference. 🎁

Mimi’s Empowerment Centre recently participated in the commemoration of the International Day of the Disabled Persons at Kapiripiri Primary School in Mukumbura, Mt. Darwin. Kapiripiri is one of the hard-to-reach areas with limited access to healthcare facilities. We successfully donated sanitary wear 600 individuals in the community, including students from Kapiripiri Primary and Mavhuradonha Secondary Schools.
A special thanks to Hon. Labbany Munemo, the MP for Mt. Darwin North, for organizing such an event. At MEC, we believe in inclusivity and are committed to empowering persons with disabilities by providing them with the opportunity to operate their own pad-making machines for sustainable and healthy sanitary wear.
This is our national call, one pad-making machine for every community, its Possible! We also would like to thank our strategic partners who made this possible and for always standing by us. sanitary pads Wealthbag Logistics Shayne'n'Dad Car Rental Foundation Intelligent Business Consultancy

It was another exciting week with the female students at Seke 11 Primary School in Chitungwiza. Our Founder, Mercy Kamanura, believes that charity begins at home; she spent the entire day at her former primary school, engaging with the young students. Addressing sexual and reproductive health is an integral part of our programming at MEC. The girls were also provided with three months' worth of sanitary wear.

Yesterday, we had an incredible day in Bindura, Mashonaland Central Province, training 60 inmates at Bindura Prison facility. Through the government Public Private Partnership initiative, we partnered the Zimbabwe Prison and Correctional Service Mashonaland Central Province to equip inmates with skills to produce products which are Liquid Laundry Soap, Foam Bath, Petroleum Jelly and Thick Bleach Multi Purpose Cleaner.

Apart from the skills training, we also donated 3 months' worth of sanitary wear to female inmates.
