Swatch’s latest lunar release marks the Year of the Horse with a graphic, high-energy design that feels contemporary rather than ceremonial. Created with artist Yu Wenjie, the watch is built around motion. Twin horses cut through cloud and flame in raised detail against a sun-washed dial.

The red palette carries through the strap and case, referencing lunar symbolism without leaning on it. Bold, kinetic, and unmistakably Swatch.

A new kind of library has appeared in Abu Dhabi, and it feels like stepping into the soul of equestrian culture. Inside ADREA, designers David Raffoul and Nicolas Moussallem have created a warm, modern sanctuary where the world of horses meets the quiet poetry of books.

The space is shaped with soft woods, curved shelves, carved lines that echo a horse in motion, and small corners meant for slowing down. You wander, you breathe, you look closer. Every detail nods to heritage and the precision of craft, from mahogany and oak to metal accents that recall fine leatherwork.

The collection celebrates equestrian history and regional art, and just steps away a saddle workshop keeps traditional craftsmanship alive. It feels like a place built with heart, meant for both learning and lingering.

In a digital world, this library becomes a reminder of what we still crave. Something tactile. Something human. A place where stories and culture live side by side and where the spirit of the horse carries the entire room. Photos 📷

Presented at Fotografiska in Stockholm, Sweden, the group show ‘Like A Horse’ featured three of David LaChapelle’s pieces: "Angelina Jolie: Horseplay", "Angelina Jolie: Secret Touching," and "Angelina Jolie: With Horse in Meadow."

The group exhibition, comprised some 30 photographers, with the horse as its common denominator, reflected our relationship with this powerful, spiritual, beautiful and hard-working animal. Our relationship with the horse is as multifaceted as it is fascinating and ancient, exquisitely depicted in prehistoric cave paintings. And when Eadweard Muybridge in the 19th century perfected the photographic technique he chose to capture, among other things, the movements of the horse.
