Hey there friends!
I would like to take a moment and share with all of you who I am and what I do, so you can better understand the human that's behind the brand.
My name is Engy I am Egyptian/Canadian that’s been living in Dubai for 8 years. I am a stay-at-home mom; I have a two-year-old daughter and another baby on the way! When I left my job so that I can take on my role as a full-time mom, I was torn about what I should do next. So, I decided to start a business while still being able to be with baby. That being said it was not easy. But baby was born, and not so long after To Be and Beyond was born.
I’m going to have a very raw moment with all of you right now. At one point I thought I was way over my head with all this. I used to always think to myself “maybe you should just stick to taking care of your baby right now and eventually just get the help you need at home and go back to your job” But the pandemic hit, and quarantine took over and so did my spare time. So, I decided “I’m going to do something!” - raw moment over.
I wanted to create a brand that represents family, which is one of the most important things to me. Something in which mom, dad and kids can all be embodied and match, but in a stylish and unique kind of way. So, like every business I started small with my mommy and me angel wings swimsuits, I wanted to deliver cute matching swimsuits with good quality, proper padding for mommies, NOT transparent, good coverage for all types of bodies. And now I would like to expand and provide more to your families. Therefore, as we get to know each other over time I would like to know more about what you would like to wear with your kids, so that I can make it happen!
That’s it. This is me, and this is To Be and Beyond; mindful and purposeful apparel for the whole family. Join me on this journey, and share with friends and family that have good taste =)
