A big little update from Little Sprouties 💚

We’re making a big change to the way we bring your little ones’ food to you.

We’re moving from chilled to frozen and we’re really excited about it too. This new format means we can make the most of our UAE organic partner farms when produce is at its peak, give you bigger portions at the same prices, waste less, and just give you more flexibility.

The food you know and love is still made with the same care, quality and ingredients, we’re only changing the format. And, well...since most of you already freeze our meals anyway, we’re just going to save you the step. 😉

Here’s what you need to know:

🥕 Last orders from our chilled menu: Friday, 28 August at midnight

🚚 Last chilled delivery: Sunday, 30 August

⏸️ Ordering will temporarily close: From Saturday, 29 August while we make the transition.

❄️ First delivery of our new frozen meals: Sunday, 6 September

We’ll let you know as soon as orders can be placed (likely 2 September).

Supermarket baby foods lean heavily on fruit.
Because sweet sells.

Babies are born preferring sweet, which means vegetables need a bit of a head start.

Research shows babies learn new flavors through repeated exposure. So, offer vegetables early, offer them often - and those tastes start to stick.

With Weanables, we kept it simple: gently steamed veggies, grains and legumes.

No fruit. And definitely not built on sweetness.

🌱 Where our food begins.

Before baby food becomes baby food… it’s simply vegetables growing quietly in the soil under the Abu Dhabi sun.

On 15 March, we’re opening the gates of our partner farm IGR Organic Farms for a relaxed family farm morning — and you’re invited.

We’ll start with a farm tour and a bit of IGR’s story, followed by pick-your-own veggies straight from the field. And while you munch on panzanella salad and zucchini fritters, Hannah (ANutr MSc) and Oz (Little Sprouties founder, MSc Biochemistry) will share how they think about building healthy snacks using farm-fresh ingredients.

Kids will do what kids do best: explore the farm, crunch on veggies or pancakes, run around, and enjoy the playhouse and activities.

Think of it as a nature-fresh start to the day.

2025 was a year of foundations for us at Little Sprouties.

Running a business sometimes means taking a few steps back in order to move forward the right way.

This year, we invested in better kitchens, stricter food safety processes, and in partners who truly share our values - especially when it comes to kids’ food.

certified organic farms are now growing our vegetables locally and transparently, right here in the UAE, and we couldn’t be happier to have found them.

This is farm-to-spoon - and this is where we’ll be leaning in even more in 2026.
