‘Remembrance’ For DXB Store | Art Dubai
A limited re-release silk scarf exploring memory, symbolism, and belonging, created in collaboration with artist Aude Abou Nasr. .my.darlings
In 2011, before Canava existed, I participated in DXB Store with a series of limited-edition loop scarves made from Damascene sheer linen. A year later, I returned with a small collection of hand-painted clutches featuring Palestinian embroidery crafted by Palestinian women living in Syria.
Fifteen years later, I find myself returning once again, still piecing together fragments of memory, heritage, and identity, now through Canava.
Being part of DXB Store again feels deeply personal. It’s an initiative that holds a special place in my heart.
