Please note, the museum/gallery will be closed at this time and not open for viewing, reopening on Saturday 27 January 2024.

4FE are excited to present “MADE IN AUS" exhibition, a collaboration between , and on the 8th, 9th and 10th of June 2023.

A thoughtful curation of objects sourced exclusively from a private collection showcasing the influence of migrant and local talents in furniture art, industrial design, and manufacturing in Australia between the 1950s-1980s. These iconic pieces are displayed through a fresh contemporary lens, exemplifying how good design transcends time.

"MADE IN AUS" is a pulsating experience of art, design, music, video graphics, and pop culture which is both educational and inspiring for all ages.

There is a bonus section featuring international designers and an 8-bit gaming corner for kids to enjoy.

And just like that, it’s a wrap!! This decision is tinged with all the emotions, as we turn the lights off in our Croydon store.

So while it’s hard to say farewell to our beloved shop, much loved customers, and the Croydon community, we can’t wait to show you our new venture, Fourth Floor Elevator , set to open in May 2023, a gallery and design studio in the heart of Adelaide City, a collaboration with and .

From April 2023, Hype & Seek will have a scaled back retail space in a room at the iconic Mid Century Modern, 140 Magill Rd Norwood, seven days a week.

Happy for who will be taking over our shop lease as she expands her existing store on Elizabeth Street.

Thank you to everyone who has ever set foot in our store over the last 22 years, and to those who visited us on-line, so grateful. It’s the connections along the way that bring light and life to our dreams, so sure hoping you will continue to support us in our new beginnings.
