Let's Batik
This is just a glimpse from the last year Adelaide Fringe workshops when we also became a finalist for this category. I had between 15- 38 people in different events for fringe. Honestly, I was kind of nervous with such big numbers but the young artists in my team handled everything very well. The attendees thoroughly enjoyed the magical process of Indonesian Batik printing and left with beautiful fabrics and memories. I'd love to see you there. Looking for fun hands-on activities to try out with your kid this Fringe? We've brought you a memorable experience based on the idea of skill building and sustainability for the youngsters.

Sat 21st Feb and Sat 14th March at NAILSWORTH COMMUNITY HALL
Sat 28th Feb at MOUNT BARKER COMMUNITY CENTRE

Try expressing yourself by painting on a high quality tote bag or a canvas! Come along to this family-friendly painting class with Rehana. Paint a beautiful bag in two hours for library or shopping. Learn some tips and tricks to pursue your creative mission.
Although this session is set on kids skill level but often we get three generations painting together!

LET'S BATIK coz Fringe is in the air!
Let's Batik 2026 experience will be coming to Mount Barker Community Centre along with the regular venue at Nailsworth Community Hall.
Thank you for supporting me in this incredible journey of starting Studio Rags with zero contacts and very little investment.
After a very successful long career overseas, I came to square 1 when moved to Australia. Starting from the scratch wasn't easy, but my passion and your support made it possible and successful. I'm blessed to share my skills and win many beautiful friends. Being a Fringe finalist in the workshops category in 2025 means a lot to me.
Special thanks to all those who became my ambassadors to promote these workshops.
