All finished. Pascale from Sew Beautiful for the dress pattern. Smocking and embroidery inspired from Sweet Valentine from Issue 95 of Australian Smocking and Embroidery. Fabric is red micro check. Mini-piping from Aussie Heirlooms. Threads are DMC.

Also many thanks to Alison Bell for entrusting me to carry on the business of Aussie Heirlooms. We have had technical issues with FB and trying to change ownership, so we both decided that starting a new page was the easiest option. Please be patient while I get that operational. It is called Aussie Heirlooms- The Home of Fine Piping. I will share a link to it when it is all set up, then Alison will delete this page ( if we can figure that one out between us ! ) I look forward seeing many 'works of art ' that you have all created with Aussie Heirlooms mini piping.

Congratulations to Julie from Adelaide who is the new owner of Aussie Heirlooms Mini Piping! After 9 years of creating beautiful fine piping in 61 colours, it is time for me to retire and hand over to a younger generation. I am very confident that Julie will continue the tradition of making and supplying high quality mini piping to the dedicated smockers and embroiderers of Australia and beyond. Aussie H is almost 30 years old, beginning in the Country Bumpkin heyday years. Such an exciting time. I still have all 100 issues of Australian Smocking & Embroidery as well as the first 60 of Inspirations. What to do with them??? I wish you all the best of success and happiness in your future endeavours. 💕 Alison

Hello smockers and embroiderers!
I've been sewing mini piping in my 'factory' today and wanted to to let you know that I have made some piping in a beautiful new colour ~ AVOCADO! This is not exactly a replacement for LIGHT OLIVE GREEN (which has been unavailable for a time now as the fabric is no longer obtainable) but goes some way to alleviating this deficit. I am not sure why it is such a difficult colour to match! AVOCADO is an excellent name for this new colour being a lighter shade of traditional olive.
PLEASE NOTE THAT COLOURS SHOWN ON THE WEBSITE/COMPUTER MAY NOT BE THE SAME AS THE ACTUAL FABRIC.
