What does DRE_S_D stand for?

Being [well] dressed. It’s about the wearing of and choosing of sartorial clothes. It’s about self-expression, style, challenging the status quo, dressing up, mastering the architecture of the body and creating rituals around the act of dressing.

Why are there missing letters/underscores?

DRE_S_D is designed and created for the individual and, like the word, is incomplete until the individual is there to help fill in the blanks.

What do you make?

Custom made luxury suits, separates, shirts, and shoes. All garments are expertly made in Europe to order. Great care is taken by DRE_S_D to achieve the highest level of sartorial excellence. Every custom is a culmination of science, art and fashion.

How is it different?

DRE_S_D is disruptive. Merging fine tailoring with a progressive attitude, DRE_S_D seeks to disrupt the convention of tai- lor-made garments for men by incorporating styling and design elements taken from the world of high fashion and street- wear culture.

Why disruptive?

DRE_S_D attempts to shake off the staleness of conventional tailoring by creating a sense of newness and rebellion. In a current culture of sportswear, streetwear and casualwear, DRE_S_D seeks to disrupt the norm by re-imaging the sartorial world.

No. DRE_S_D create for women who are not afraid of wearing menswear re-appropriated to suit them.

How do people get DRE_S_D?

DRE_S_D is as much about the process (the act of being dressed) as it is about the clothing. DRE_S_D have completely replaced the traditional retail environment in favour of a progressively styled dressing room in which they conduct one-on- one consultations. Inside the atelier, classics are re-imagined, rules may be broken, and dressing will never be the same.
