It’s here.

If you saw our post a few weeks ago, you might remember we had something big coming exclusively to The Run Shop.

Well… meet Mount to Coast.

A new running brand with its roots firmly planted in ultrarunning.

The thinking is pretty simple:

If you can build a shoe to perform when someone is running 100km, 200km or more, you can probably build one hell of an everyday running shoe.

And they've done it without making something that looks like every other running shoe on the wall.

This is the H1.

Road. Gravel. Light trail. Everyday running and walking.

Ultra heritage. Everyday legs.

It's fresh, it's different, it looks bloody good, and we're pretty excited to be the exclusive Mount to Coast stockist in South Australia.

We’ve only got limited seed stock to start with, so if you want to be one of the first in SA to try them, you know where to find us.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sports/Remedial Massage Therapist to build their practice within The Run Shop community.

The Run Shop is looking for a passionate sports or remedial massage therapist to join our running, walking and active community in Walkerville.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to establish and grow their own practice while being connected with an existing community of runners, walkers and endurance athletes.

Starting a new practice can be challenging. Finding clients, building trust and becoming known in your community takes time. This opportunity provides the chance to grow your business alongside an established specialist running store and connect with people who are already passionate about their health, movement and staying active.

The opportunity includes:

✅ Dedicated treatment space within The Run Shop
✅ Access to an established running, walking and active community
✅ Potential referral opportunities from customers seeking support with recovery and managing niggles
✅ Presence through The Run Shop website and community channels
✅ Connection with local running events and activities
✅ A supportive environment focused on health, movement and performance

We would love to hear from someone who:

✔️ Is qualified and appropriately insured as a sports/remedial massage therapist
✔️ Is passionate about working with runners, walkers and active people
✔️ Is building an existing practice or looking for the right environment to establish one
✔️ Is motivated to develop their own client base and business
✔️ Values community, collaboration and building genuine relationships

We are open to supporting the right person through the early stages of establishing themselves, so this opportunity could suit an experienced therapist or someone earlier in their career who is looking for the right environment to build their practice.

As part of the selection process, we will ask shortlisted applicants to provide three references.

Grateful to have facilitated the Australian Athletics Level 3 Trail and Ultra Coaching Course in Adelaide last weekend at Belair.

With 15 coaches travelling from SA, VIC, NSW and QLD, it was great to come together for only the second time this course has been delivered.

Across the weekend we covered programming, nutrition, hydration, skills, equipment, and safety and risk management, supported by practical sessions including a night run, poles session and skills session.

What stood out most was the openness in the room. Plenty of great questions, shared experience, and real collaboration.

For me, weekends like this are a reminder that coaching isn’t about having all the answers, but creating space for learning and growth. I left just as inspired as I hope the coaches did.

As coaches if we can help more athletes run with a smile on their face, I think we’re on the right track.
