I’ve been waiting for the eyelets to turn up for this hoodie to be completed for ages but now it’s with a delightful small person who requested thumb 👍 hole cuffs, oversized, and kangaroo pockets. Let’s all just take a moment to admire that EXCELLENT pattern matching shall we?? 🤓🥳😝 I think we both did a dance for joy when he got it! (PS. He has matching trackies)

It’s BOOKWEEK 📖📚!! I haven’t done paper mache since I was 6! But a yoga ball and a lampshade from Bunnings got a STARWARS do over - along with an inflatable costume with more adhesive vinyl than one Spotlight could offer! He’s heading to highschool next year so we went BIG on this one! 🥰🎉

Every hexie is a scrap of something I have made or a scrap pack gifted by my grandmother. Hand tacked, and hand sewn. Then I hand quilted the whole thing! IT’S FINISHED!!!! 🥳🥳

My mum was so excited about her Mother’s Day presents that she immediately hung them both and took photos. 🥰 Love you mum. Even if you’ve been channelling your “old lady” vibes since you were my age! 😝

I promise I have been making!!! 😂 this is me trialing the for our trip to Japan! I love the size, but I made it with “pleather” from a skirt that was too small and there is splitting along all the main edges so I might need to salvage what I can from this one and try a canvas or denim? The straps from Kylie and the Machine are the PERFECT weight.

Today on the operating table we have “lovey-dove”. (Desperately in need of some underwing repairs.) It has to be soft and silky to the touch - good thing I still have the silk leftovers from my wedding dress! Using my skills to help support school kids’ emotional resilience 💯% win.
