I know the business is closed but when you get asked by a local lady if you could make some burp cloths you just have to say yes don't you.
It was fun and I must admit it was wonderful to make the full set of burp cloths and wipes with all the let over fabric.
Was too exhausted after 3 hours worth of work to make the bag to hold it all so will make that up another day, hopefully before the baby arrives, but overall I am pleased to say she like the gift.
What do you all think?

So happy I can finally share my latest bag with you. The designer has finally released the pattern and it is available from Andrie Designs . I feel so privileged to be trusted to be a part of her pattern testing group.

As you all know I am a massive fan of the Ebb and Flow fabric range from Windham Fabrics from the UK designer Essoldo Design.
I had already cut out the On Point quilt fabric with the help and support of Eliza Kay so I took the left over strip's and joined them together to make a set of new fabrics using same designs in different colour tones. Once that was done I realised it looked a little flat, so I quilted the foam to the main fabric only, giving it, that lovely box/square look all to the outside, leaving the lining loose and fresh. Using the gold fabric from Windham Fabrics that compliments the Ebb and Flow as the lining and also the piping has really made this bag pop.

Thanks so much to Genevieve and Eliza at Kadina Craft and Sewing Centre for all their help and support. Also to Wendy for giving me the confidence to start creating again.

Off now to get the ultimate travel bag and a double gear toiletries bag made with the remaining fabric scraps. Think I might quilt it in the same way so everything matches nicely.

OMG this quilt is really coming together now.
Look how good the gold lines are looking.
Taken all afternoon to get just one of the blocks done though.
But this is about the process not speed and I am loving the process. Not sure by back and neck are but the brain definitely is.

The process of joining triangles together is a slow one, but so enjoyable when you see the perfect points.
3 sets now complete, just leaving the final set to be done next week.
Once all of them are complete the fun part of cutting the triangles to insert the gold strip's begins.
This part is going to take even longer than the On point joining so I won't be posting now till next week.

So we have started sewing all the strip's together and that was not to hard, just repetitive. Very repetitive 😅😅😅.
But the offset means that we can utilise the maximum amount of fabric.
Now we also need to decide what we are going to use the left over fabric.
Well looks like that will be another story to be added to the vlog😁.

When I first saw these fabrics from Windham Fabrics called Ebb and Flow by the designer I fell in love with them and knew I needed to get the full collection.
Thankfully Kadina Craft and Sewing Centre managed to get the full collection and I was hooked.
Then came the decision as to what to make with them. Wonder of wonders my instagram feed showed me .domestic On point Quilt design in the exact fabrics and I knew I had to make it.
Now here is the kicker, I have never in all my years of sewing and designing have I ever made a full blown bed quilt. It's been a dream but never have I actually come close to make it come true.
Well now the time has come.
Thankfully Eliza Kay helped me by cutting all the fabric into strip's for me, but now I need to start putting the fabrics together.
First it was sewing the strip's together in an offset so I could form the triangles. Leaving me with lots of scraps.
But now I am at full blown construction mode and I would like for you to join me in the construction of the quilt.
I am going to vlog the construction at least once a week so get ready to see the develop. I hope you can get as excited as I am about this amazing quilt.
Today being the first of January I am hoping to have the quilt completed by winter or should I say July.
I am not going to put myself under pressure, as there is a lot to do.
But I am determine to enjoy the process and not to rush.
So I am hoping to publish weekly a round up of what I have achieved, so make sure you follow and like to keep up with my journey.

Sorry it's been a while since I posted, but have spent a few days trying to figure out where to go with this bag.
This is the second attempt at the ByAnnie Bag.
This time I have added a much stronger magnetic and make sure the bottom thread matched the lining fabric.
I think removing extra webbing and instead using the outer fabric has made the bag much simpler.
What do you think.

Bag finished at last.
Going to be late for Christmas but the reciepeant won't mind.
Now to concentrate on V3 of the saddlebag

It's that time of year again.
Christmas scrub hats made and ready to go to keep clients smiling this Christmas.
These are so much fun to make.
Now to make the scrubs to go with them.

This bag is finally finished. Have put feet on it and a solid removable inner base to make it more sturdy. Soon to be flying over to the UK to its new owner.
Can't wait to see the owners face.
Hope to get a picture for sure.
