A few happy snaps of the quilting on Namma Junes stunning quilt Blue Lagoon made with predominantly Solids that she entered in the QuiltNSW show last month.

This was a fun one to work on as Nan gave me free choice as to how I quilted it, so…. I took inspiration from the diamond blocks and wanted to compliment them with a wave / ripple effect. Soo I played around on Pricilla & manipulated & stretched the pattern to fit to the quilt, and yes this was quilted as an edge to edge!

For the batting Nan wanted something soft that would show the quilting, safe to say Hobbs Batting 80/20 was the perfect match for this quilt.

This quilt was incredibly fun to work on & also quite special too!

If you have a quilt needing to be quilted & Looking to bring it to life be sure to get in contact and I also accept mail in jobs too.

Just thought I’d pop on and share my latest creation with the Stunning new Tula Pink Prince Charming DeJavu

This bag was made on the fly with no pattern for mums birthday present but rest assured I did keep notes to make a pattern when time allows.

Safe to say mum absolutely loved it & will be rocking it around town soon!
