BAGS….

I have a bit of a love hate relationship when it comes to making bags. This is my first one using vinyl and I love the end result. Bags are very rewarding to make but boy are they a lot of work!! Generally a bit too much work for me as my patience runs out before I finish🫣🤣

It’s been quiet on my page for a while and that’s because we went on a big much needed holiday to see our family overseas and after that it took me a while to get back at things at home, find my sewing mojo and learn to make time for it.

Keeping a page up and running is hard work but from now on I will try hard to keep posting my makes when I finish them.

Since a couple of months I’d like to do strike sewing for a local fabric business.

WHAT IS A STRIKE SEW?🤔
This means I buy a surprise print on a choosen fabric base that will be available in a future pre order round. I sew a garment of my choice from this fabric and supply photos to the fabric business for marketing purposes. I also promote the print and business on other fb pages.

This perfect summer print will be revealed in full this coming Friday the 28th, when the pre order round starts😁

This is my latest tool that I bought because I wanted a see through ruler and OMG how have I done it without😅
It’s so much better than I thought🤩 Since us Dutch people are generally tall I often need to add length to patterns and with this ruler it’s become a piece of cake!👌🏼
