END OF AN ERA
Sadly I canβt share my reel which is on my own private page but this was the caption after yesterdays final market and Iβll add a few pics:
πΈToday I closed the chapter on a big part of my life for almost 34 years π
Jellybears began in 1992 at the Lismore car boot market with 9 handmade dresses Iβd sewn. Casey was 3 and Josh was 1. I sold out that day and never imagined Iβd still be doing it 30+ yrs later. It allowed me to be a stay at home mum with my kids during the week while I sewed late most nights and then a lot of sundays spent earning $$ to help support our family.
From dressing my 3 kids and thousands & thousands of children locally and from around the world to now seeing those kids buy it for their own kids and my own grandchildren wearing Jellybears is something Iβm quite proud of.
What a bloody wonderful journey itβs been with lots of great people met and friends made from customers and supportive fellow stall holders
Thank you to everyone that has supported me and my little label over the years which in turn enabled me to be there for my children in their growing up years π
And lastly, thanks to my 3 beautiful kids, Casey, Josh & Jordan featured in this reel for putting up with me taking their pics countless times over a few years and under duress to model my clothing. This reel mostly features the late 90βs early 2000βs and a few later on, finishing with a few of my gorgeous grandkids at the end π
