Long time no talk. Been thinking about the times we are living in, about me, about you and what the actual f**k.
I am marking everything down on line. In an effort to 'clear out', 'start again' OR 'close out'.
Universe will reveal itself.
These last 16 months have forced me to reexamine absolutely everything.
Pain, betrayal and confusion creates opportunities of growth and self discovery
Work and my business has taken a back seat.
To keep going feels like an uphill battle.
I set out to create better values for creating a clothing brand that can truly be called ethical and sustainable. But I realised the values of my personal life were riddled with abuse from entitlement, hypocrisy, toxic work environment, betrayal and lies.
I am angry, resentful and weak. I am trying to rebuild myself. ✨
Social media is on a pause.
I am in no position to build back the marketing and the branding that has plateaued during the absence of presence of mind and this economic environment.
Unable to afford growth and lacking resources to go India. I feel a huge chunk of myself missing India, not knowing when I would see my team, my people that supported me. There it was again, the ‘missing’ and such guilt of abandoning.
And Shame.
