Beading for me is a calming practice that allows me to get lost in the beauty, the creativity and the flow that comes with designing beautiful jewellery pieces. 📿

An exciting new Mala project is underway in the SoulGemz studio. 📿

13 of our gorgeous Malas are currently being created to journey to India for a yoga retreat early next year.

All of our Malas go through a selective design process, ensuring the right beads match together with all the Mala elements. They are then carefully crafted and hand knotted to secure and protect each individual crystal gemstone.

Sparkling stones, gorgeous gems, and heavenly crystals - for centuries, precious stones have been believed to help you heal. ✨

Crystals are said to have healing properties because they have high vibrational frequencies. Everything around us is energy, and the belief is that the high vibrations of crystals affect and interact with the body’s own energy field and can help to cleanse any blockages in the chakras (the body’s energy centres) and bring the body, mind, and soul into alignment.

Nature is one of the most powerful forces known to man. It is literally the beginning and end of life. Without trees, we’d have no air to breathe. Being amongst the beauty of nature can nurture our nervous system, can bring peace and happiness, and envelope one into a sense of calm and purpose. Just as nature can be soothing for the soul, so too can natures other wonders, the magic of crystals. Crystals are formed and raised in the essence of the earth and they have a close, deep, energetic connection with nature.

Green crystals are representative of nature and are known as the ‘growth crystals’. They are powerful conduits of the earth’s Life Force of birth, development, and creation, and of the power of nature’s constant renewal.

It’s been a little quiet in the SoulGemz studio regarding new creations. I’ve been busy doing a lot of Mala necklace / bracelet repairs.

Sometimes people have purchased a Mala or bracelet from a market or an online store, only to have it snap or break. Then it sits for years in a drawer, maybe never to be taken out again.

SoulGemz offers a re-sizing, re-design and
re-stringing service to bring those damaged pieces back to life for you to enjoy once more.

Sometimes life can throw us on a path that we are least expecting, much less least prepared for. 🩵

I recently learned of a beautiful soul who has a long battle ahead of her. Whilst nothing can prepare us for the battle, our innermost strength can forge a pathway to healing.

I created this bracelet for her which contains some powerful healing crystals specific for breast cancer and one that can be worn as a reminder of the inner strength and powerfully courageous spirit. 🙏🏼🌸
