I wish I was proud to be in this article.

The only thing I’m grateful for right now is the family is okay, for now, and our voices are being heard.

The world needs to know.
The world needs to know it’s not a Muslim crisis, it’s a Palestinian one.

It’s not Hamas problem, it’s a humanity problem.

And those who continue to be proud of the inhumane killings, look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself, “what have I become?!”

How do we stop this horrendous behaviour.
When they said never again, they were selfish for themselves.

While Christmas is approaching and you light up your Christmas trees, adorn your tree with decorations and a star, remember Christ was born in Bethlehem and right now, Christ is in mourning.

A horrible update to wake up to!

An update on our Church in Gaza. Snipers shooting at anyone who moves. Bombing at the doorstep and killing those taking refuge outside.

Not even allowed to help them.

An update that they can’t even leave the room to go bathroom!

What has this world come to when we can’t even stop them!

If you are still offended by my posts and calls for a ceasefire, then ask yourself why are you offended!!!!

This is far beyond horrible and no words to describe it.

Please keep them in your prayers. 🙏🏻

They will be arriving with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Our families are currently taking refugee in Gaza experiencing the most devastating atrocity as their homes, businesses and memories are being completely destroyed by the bombings.

They have lost everything. We can’t even comprehend the psychological trauma they are and will experience.

Each year, the team at Chidiac Legal takes pride in celebrating the birth of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with the public display of our Christmas tree, decorations, gifts and lights. It is a way of expressing our joy during this season at the approach of the Christmas Advent season.

Unfortunately, these are not normal times. Since the start of Oct 7 and the situation in Palestine, there has been an atmosphere of sadness and pain. Thousands of innocent civilians, including women and children, have been killed and suffered serious injuries. Many more grieve over the loss of their homes, their loved ones, or the uncertain fate of those dear to them. Throughout the region, even more have lost their work and are suffering from serious economic challenges. Yet, despite our repeated calls for humanitarian ceasefire and de-escalation of violence, the war continues.

In a show of solidarity with our brothers and sisters suffering during this difficult time, we will forgo the decorations on our Christmas tree and public display of joy.

We ask that you join us in prayer for a ceasefire, an end to the unnecessary displacement of Palestinians from their homes, an end to the illegal occupation of Palestinians, an end to the unnecessary death of innocent men, women and children, a release of all hostages and those detained in contravention of international law, and for peace in the Middle East.

It’s about human injustice, it’s about a genocide happening as we watch online, sleep in our warm beds, drink clean water from our taps and eat fresh food.
