We’re starting a little series to give you a peek behind the seams and introduce some of the tools that make alterations possible. And it seems only fitting to start with The Sewing Machine 🪡.

Whether it’s a simple hem, a formal gown alteration, or a favourite piece needing a little TLC, this is where the magic happens. Day in and day out, it’s the workhorse of the studio and the tool that helps make every garment look and feel its best.

💡 Fun fact: The first sewing machine patent was filed in 1790. Long before electricity, computers, and even the light bulb!
