Our Egyptian friend has found his home and I'm pretty sure he's happy about it🥰
Meet Julie, the proud new owner! Julie has been loving him for a couple of weeks now. He will proudly stand in her foyer to greet her family and friends every time they come over. I can see him adorned with lights at Christmas, carrying an Aussie flag on Australia Day, or dressed up for the grand kids birthdays. I hope he brings joy and wonder into your household Julie, thanks so much for your business ✌️♥️

✨🦚Opulence you can hang!🦚✨

Step into a world of shimmering threadwork and old‑world glamour with this spectacular hand‑embroidered Zardozi textile. At 129.5 cm by 203 cm, it’s not just a wall hanging — it’s a full‑scale conversation starter.

Every inch is alive with metallic threads, silk accents, and precious stone detailing that catch the light like they have secrets to tell. The piece has already been expertly stretched over a sturdy frame, so you won’t need to fuss with mounting or framing. Just choose the perfect wall and let it take center stage.

This is the kind of artwork that transforms a room into a boutique interior!

At $7,400, it’s priced for its scale, craftsmanship, and rarity — a statement piece for someone who loves art with personality.✌🩷

A Tale of Two Families💐
On Mother's Day, a mother came in with her daughters after enjoying a breakfast together. It was fun to watch their interaction with each other, the cheeky banter, the acknowledgement of each other's appreciation of the past, the appreciation of each other. A couple of weeks later one of the girls came in, Julie with her husband Ken, lovers of retro. Then Wendy came in with her husband Jason, and low and behold they collect also. So yesterday, the boys picked up some of their purchases with instructions and requests from the girls.
Ken and Julie bought our TV and some chairs for his shed. Now that TV must have been waiting to go to his shed, because it has been sold 3 times and each sale didnt go through, the TV knew where it wanted to go😉and it was prepared to wait for the right person to love it as much as my hubby and I. Ken's shed will be one of the two flashest sheds around, the other will be Jason and Wendy's as he now has a petrol bowser and a display cabinet for his collectable cars. I might tell you this lot also have a collection of cool old cars! Tomorrow I will show you what Julie fell in love with. And if I can track down some of the rare biscuit barrels Wendy collects, I will get her in one of these photos😆
And to the lovely lady that bought our three piece patio setting (little yellow table and two white chairs), I would love a photo of the suite set up in your garden if you have the time.✌❤

💥On the floor and gone in half an hour.💥

This antique setting was in need of alot of work and our dear friend Mark has restored it to beautiful. Tegan had been chasing a dining table, popped in to have a look at it and this old girl ticked all the boxes of what she was after. Mark has turned her into a stunning piece, I hope you'll love her forever Tegan, thank you again for your business.🙏

Big thank you to Mark and Barb for purchasing our Parker sweet.🙏
Barb doesn't like photos but happily nudged Mark to have his photo taken😄. Barb had loved the Parker style since the 70s and when this one came onto the floor, she couldn't stop thinking about it. Mark, with a history in furniture making knew he could make it look even better than in the store......and he did. I have had the pleasure of seeing how he restored this table and it looks 😍. Two really cool people with an awesome eye and a sophisticated style.✌️♥️

Do you remember these?🤯
The 70s where your kitchenware matched the interior of your Holden Kingswood.
Well these two unused canisters exemplify the 70's Aussie kitchen, the classic earthy tones of Mandarin and mud accompanied by a fake timber lid because plastic is indestructible, outlasting you, your kids and the human race. If you dropped this canister on your orange s**g pile rug next to your brown lounge it would instantly disappear. Gotta say though, they are super cool😆
Big one - $65.00
Little one - $40.00
