Threaded Acres

Threaded Acres Each piece is lovingly upcycled and handmade by a local country mum who believes clothing should be unique, meaningful, and gentle on the planet.

Blending rustic charm with modern flair, every garment tells its own story — no two are the same.

Girly enough to be the belle of the ball… playful enough for country girl adventures 🤍

For the girls who’ll twirl in it one minute, then be off climbing trees the next.
Belted up or worn loose, dressed up or thrown on for a day outside — it just works.

Soft, easy, and made for real days… not just the pretty ones.

Size 4 — Seaside Top with flutter sleeves + belt loops & tie
Size 4 — Beachcomber Shorts with paperbag waist

It’s been a little quiet on here lately, but behind the scenes at Threaded Acres we’ve been slowly ticking away 🤍

We’ve been busy building up our collection in the background, stitching away and tucking pieces aside until we’ve got enough to fill a little market stall of our own.

This sweet floral piece is a size 4, with a matching top and headband currently in progress 🌿

If you see something you love and can picture as part of your little love’s wardrobe, feel free to message me directly or pop over to our website 🤍

Thanks for sticking with us while we work away in the background—there’s always something beautiful in the making.

A sweet little summer dress + a matching scrunchie to finish it off 🤍
Made from the softest fabric remnants, because beautiful things deserve a second chance. 🥰

Isn't it incredible to see what can be made from something that was destined for the landfill?!

Ive been coming up with tiny bits of excess so Instead of letting these beautiful little remnants go to waste, I decided to give them another new life.
A little play at the sewing machine later and out popped these headbands and scrunchies 🤍
Proof that even the smallest pieces can turn into something lovely.

How cute are they?

It’s been a little quieter here than usual… the holidays brought the usual Christmas and New Year chaos, followed closely by another round of sickness, and the heartbreaking loss of our much-loved old horse. It’s been a lot, and sometimes pressing pause is necessary. 💛
But while it may have looked still on the outside, behind the scenes Threaded Acres has been gently ticking along. There have been new ideas brewing, plans unfolding, and that same spark of excitement and love for creating beautiful, unique pieces has never dimmed.
And speaking of beautiful… how sweet is this little dress? Soft, vintage-style florals, timeless, twirl-worthy and full of those gentle details I adore bringing to life.

Thank you for still being here, for your patience, and for supporting handmade – even in the quieter seasons. There’s so much more coming, and I can’t wait to share it with you. 🌿✨

Despite how cute this print is, I honestly struggled with what to do with it at first. On its own it’s quite a busy little fabric, so I let it sit… and waited for the right solid shade to roll in and make it all make sense.

And then this pink arrived — the perfect match. ✨

Suddenly the butterflies, flowers and tiny details weren’t overwhelming anymore… they were adorable.
So here it is: a sweet little tee that finally found its balance, finished with soft pink sleeves and a matching neckband that ties everything together beautifully.

Sometimes the right fabric just needs its perfect partner 💗🦋

Confession time: I don’t have a fabric problem… I genuinely have a storage problem 😅🧵
And lately, it’s become painfully clear that I need to reassess the whole setup.

I need to see my fabrics and colours at a glance. My hanging wardrobe has been perfect for that — but she’s officially at capacity, and I refuse to cram it full and forget what I own.

So I’ve moved all my loose ends and smaller runs into clear extra-large containers. They stack five high, and I can see everything from the outside…
but pulling down the whole tower just to grab one piece is becoming quite the workout 🤦‍♀️

If anyone has found the magical sweet spot between “visible” and “not a safety hazard,” I’m all ears.
Until then… I’ll just be over here playing fabric Jenga.

I cannot begin to describe my excitement when I come across beautifully damaged pieces like this floral dress. 🩷

If you’ve ever wondered what I love working with — and why I pour so much heart into upcycling — this dress is the perfect example. Something that’s had a full life, marked with a little wear, a little character, and a whole lot of potential.

These are the pieces that spark my creativity the most… the ones that deserve a second story, not the end of one.

I can already see the transformation ahead, and I can’t wait to bring her back to life in a brand-new form. ✨

Friday Fabric Frenzy🧵🌼

Working my way through some generously donated treasures today, and these two caught my eye instantly. The textures, the colours… they’re full of potential!🤩

What do you see these becoming?🤔

Today’s sewing progress:
✨ Stared at fabric.
✨ Drank coffee.
✨ Stared at fabric again.

Creators block has me cornered — butterflies, florals, textures, colours… and zero decisions. 😅🧵

Of course, this always happens when I actually have time to sit down and be productive. No need to worry though — I know inspiration will strike… probably five minutes before I have to leave for work. Classic. ☕💗

For now, I’ll sip my coffee, stare a little more, and wait for that spark. It always comes. Until then… coffee o’clock.

How do you break through creators Block?

Before a single stitch is sewn every piece of fabric gets a full inspection — big scraps, small offcuts and everything in between.
I go over each piece with a fine-tooth comb, marking any little imperfections so they don’t make their way into your garments.

It’s slow, careful work… but it’s one of the ways I make sure every Threaded Acres piece is something I’m truly proud to send out into the world. 🌿🧵✨
