And that’s a wrap!! Move out completed. Thank you and goodbye.

Don’t forget we are still at Blackheath and Lithgow with the majority of the fashion moving down to 47 Main Street Lithgow, but also some select pieces in Blackheath.

For our Sydney people we still have our sister store at Roseville.

Thank you again to my staff, customers, suppliers, agents, friends and family for supporting me through 7 years of running the store.

The decision to close wasn’t easy and it wasn’t because the business wasn’t doing well, in fact recently we have had some of the biggest trading days ever. It appears the tourists are returning and the locals are getting out and about again. The decision to close was a combination of both personal and business reasons.

Personal I won’t go in to but in terms of business I have been operating 4 retail stores and after the CoVid lockdowns and with a lease requiring renewal is was time to make the decision to downsize and consolidate.

Twig will still sell our main labels and we look forward to getting the shops sorted and welcoming you instore.

I loved this building. It was old and imperfect but had beautiful character.

Many new friendships made from our time here and of course great memories will stay with us.

It’s a bit disappointing to know that the space will now become a government site office. I believe a sign of the times where only government or government subsidised businesses can afford high retail rents. Very sad for the retail landscape of Blackheath.

For us it is onwards and upwards.
