At Butterfly Garden (for kids!) we've been helping our customers choose gifts, with love, for nearly 16 years. Our journey started as a small, handmade home business, with a tiny e-bay sto

re and a lot of word-of-mouth. Kylie, our owner, started making beautiful hair clips and headbands just as the handmade revolution was sprouting in Australia. Based on designs she'd seen overseas on her travels and searches, and with a need to create something unique and lasting for her own girls.. the dream began...

With 2 small babies at home to spend time with, a small workshop was set up and many late nights followed. Next came the first market stall, then a page and over the years the 'business' took hold ( and often took over!) until we were a well-oiled team, setting up in shopping centres across NSW & ACT each week, meeting lots of new people. By this time our range had grown to include Homewares, Vintage-Inspired Toys & Clothing. In 2011, as our family grew older and the business a little crazier, we decided a change was in need. And what a change it was! With a move to the beautiful Blue Mountains of Sydney, and the opening of our first ever Retail store, in the gorgeous village community of Springwood, life has never been better. So many of our customers have followed us from the very beginning, and yet many more are new to the BG Journey. Each of you has helped shape who we are and what we want to be as a business and as a part of your community. While we're enjoying the flexibility of working online only at the moment, Our focus is still on the handmade, the unique, the easy to love pieces that you can keep and pass down through your family. We believe strongly in supporting Australian businesses, small and large. All of our range is carefully chosen to stand the test of time and to enrich your little ones lives....
